The toss took place between Australia's captain Marsh and Scotland's captain Berrington. Australia's captain Marsh won the toss and decided to bowl first. Marsh came to bat after Jake Fraser-McGurk was out. Head and Marsh handled Australia's innings but in the 3.2 over, Head was out after scoring 12 runs with the help of 2 fours in 11 balls. When Head was out, the team's score was 18/2 wickets. Green came to bat after Head was out.


Green or Captain Marsh handled the innings and Australia scored 45 runs in the power play. Green was playing in an efficient manner. Marsh and Green had a partnership of 61 runs in 36 balls. Green's contribution was 25 and Marsh's contribution was 27 runs.
